Project Homeless Connect in East County San Diego: Crisis House Hosts Annual Multi-Service Community Event

دار الأزمات was proud to re-host this year’s مشروع بلا مأوى الاتصال, an annual East County San Diego community event designed to connect individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability with essential, life-stabilizing services in one accessible location.

This year’s event brought together a powerful collaborative effort, including 39 participating vendors, 20 dedicated volunteers, and 196 community members served throughout the day. The strong participation from both service providers and community members reflects the ongoing need for coordinated, low-barrier access to care and support in our region.

A One-Stop Access Point for Critical Community Services

مشروع بلا مأوى الاتصال is designed to reduce barriers by bringing multiple systems of care together in a single, welcoming environment. Attendees were able to connect directly with providers offering support across a wide range of essential services, including:

  • Healthcare services and referrals
  • Housing navigation and Coordinated Entry System (CES) assessments
  • Case management and individualized support planning
  • Legal assistance
  • Identification services
  • Public benefits enrollment and assistance
  • Hygiene kits and basic needs resources
  • Connections to long-term community-based support services

The diversity of participating vendors played a critical role in the success of the event. Healthcare providers, behavioral health organizations, housing specialists, legal aid teams, and community-based service agencies worked side by side to ensure that individuals could receive multiple forms of support in one coordinated setting—often addressing needs that intersect across health, housing, and stability.

The Importance of Community Collaboration

As the host organization, دار الأزمات is honored to coordinate this annual event alongside so many dedicated partners who share a commitment to serving our community with dignity and care. مشروع بلا مأوى الاتصال continues to demonstrate the importance of cross-sector collaboration, especially when addressing, especially when addressing topics such as التشرد, العنف المنزلي, and housing instability that affect safety, stability, and well-being.

By working together, vendors and partners help ensure that individuals are not navigating fragmented systems alone, but instead are met with a unified network of support focused on immediate needs and long-term stability.

Thank You to Our Sponsors!

This year’s event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors.

We are especially grateful to مجموعة باسيفيك هيلث جروب, whose significant sponsorship and deep commitment to community well-being played a vital role in making this year’s Project Homeless Connect a success. We extend our sincere gratitude to Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan for their continued support and partnership in advancing community health and access to care. Their contribution helped strengthen the overall capacity of the event and supported essential services provided to attendees.

Gratitude to Our Community

We extend our deepest appreciation to all participating vendors, volunteers, and partner organizations who contributed their time, expertise, and compassion to this event. Each role—whether providing healthcare referrals, legal guidance, housing support, or basic needs assistance—helped create a meaningful and impactful day for our community.

Most importantly, we thank every individual who attended and placed their trust in us. Your presence is what makes this work meaningful and reminds us why these services matter.
