Many traditional shelter systems are designed for individuals, which can result in partners being separated when they need each other most. That\u2019s why we\u2019re committed to helping couples navigate the resources available in San Diego County \u2014 including the services we offer right here at Crisis House.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>The Unique Needs of Homeless Couples<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Couples experiencing homelessness often face a difficult choice: stay together on the streets or separate to access shelter. This can create additional emotional strain and slow progress toward housing stability. Safe, accommodating shelter that supports the bond between partners is essential for long-term success.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>How Crisis House Can Help<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Crisis House, our <\/span><a href=\"\/ar\/our-programs\/homeless-services\/\"><b>\u062e\u062f\u0645\u0627\u062a \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0634\u0631\u062f\u064a\u0646<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> program \u2014 <a href=\"\/ar\/our-programs\/homeless-services\/east-county-housing-inquiry\/\">East County Housing Connections (ECHC)<\/a> \u2014 helps individuals and families, including couples, exit homelessness.
